Our common life requires effort and work and offers great opportunities for you to make a difference and to connect with others in through fellowship and shared labor
PASTORAL CARE
The Pastoral Care Ministry provides comfort and support to parishioners in many ways. In addition to arranging and dispensing flowers to shut-ins, the sick or sorrowing following the weekend services, cards are sent to people in times of illness, anniversaries, or life events. Meals and food supplies are provided to those who need them. Lay Eucharistic Ministers are trained and licensed to take the sacrament from the altar following the 10:30 o’clock service to people who are unable to attend church. The Pastoral Care Committee members coordinate between the Rector and family members during times of bereavement.
BUILDING AND GROUNDS
The Building and Grounds Ministry focus is to keep the church in a pleasing state of welcome for our members and visitors who come to worship. The committee organizes work parties throughout the year to maintain the facilities, improve the grounds, and complete renovation projects at the church building and rectory.
HOSPITALITY
Whether its making coffee after the service or helping to set up for community meals and events; making others feel welcome is a gift
