We would be honored to be part of your wedding or funeral. Wedding and Funeral services at St Luke’s are considered sacraments and are drawn from the authorized service forms of the Episcopal Church.
WEDDINGS
Generally, we expect that at least one member of the wedding couple to be a baptized Christian. We also believe in marriage equality and will perform weddings for same-sex as well as opposite-sex couples.
All weddings at St Luke’s will be presided over by our Rector and our expectation is that the couple being married will meet with the Rector in advance. We will consider inviting clergy of other faith traditions to participate jointly in the service at the Rector’s discretion.
Our Rector would also be happy to preside at your wedding in a venue of your choice.
There is no fee for the Rector’s services, but there is a separate building use fee of $200 plus a $50 refundable damage deposit. There would also be an additional fee for an organist of $150.
Our parish hall is also available for receptions. If your wedding is being held here at St Luke’s, your building use fee will cover use of the parish hall as well. For receptions where the wedding was not held at St Luke’s, there is a building use fee of $200 plus a $50 refundable damage deposit.
FUNERALS
We would be honored to celebrate the life of your loved one, either here in our church building, at a funeral home, or another location of your choice.
If you would like our Rector to offer Last Rites to your loved one prior to death, you can reach him via email at parsonwhite@gmail.com
Our typical funeral service includes the primary funeral service as well as a short service graveside.
